Trackback pings -- I'm giving up

After several months of hardly any trackback spam, all my blogs, including the ones here, are now nightly deluged with trackback spam of the most vile sort, even by Internet standards. So, I've turned off trackback for all of my entries and have instead registered with Technorati and linked to them in the sidebar to keep track of who links to me. I recommend the other authors here do the same.

I am going to do the same. Normally it's a random spam here and there but the other day I got about 15 in one day and then this morning I found one that offended even me. Technorati is a great tool by the way. I've been using it since I've been here and it's just as effective as trackback.

Had some 2 weeks ago trackbacks and fake comments from online casinos and such, but never got any more, so I'll have patience --I appreciate other trackbacks. But thanks for the warning.
