SFAA Conference
*repost* I believe that I accidentally deleted this post (alt+d (shortcut to get into the adress bar) deletes things in movable type).
I will be attending the SFAA conference in Vancouver next week. I plan to blog about the day's sessions at least every night (if not more frequently). The link to my blog can be found at Synthesis of Thought If anyone has any requests of sessions they would like to know about, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
I'm pretty excited to be attending the conference this year, I went last year in Sante Fe and it was great! I'm really looking forward to the one next year in Tampa, the theme of that one is collaboration between academic fields- awesome.
If anyone is going to be in Vancouver also and would like to meet up- let me know! Also, if anyone has any suggestions on things to do in Vancouver definitely let me know. I'll be there from Tuesday (3/28) until Tuesday (4/4).
And one question- what is the etiquette of laptops in the sessions? I don't want to be rude if it is inappropriate to have the laptop in the sessions with me- but at the same time, I can type much faster than I can write. Does anyone have any idea?
