Fieldwork is great...

Fieldwork is great, dont you think?
Hum, yes I think.

Well, I was just here remembering my fieldwork. On fact that is almost the only thing I've been thinking lately. Writing articles, needing to write some more, writing my monography…

What an experience. Like a friend of mine, a Phd student for science of religio at Lancaster/Eng use to say: "it's a hate and love relation." You love the exotic, the differente, the learning, but sometimes they make you dizzy, and as they become familiar, well… some times we all get tired of familiar things right? But once we are far from them again....

So, my work is going fine, a lot of Berger's social theory with Durkheim, Mauss, Sahlins, Turner, Hobsbawn, Geertz, Clifford, Bourdie, Stewart, Droogers, and so it goes!

well, well...
can’t wait for the next time!
