Officially Accepted!

I arrived home from work today to find a letter from the anthropology department at UNT sitting in the mailbox.
Much to my delight, it was my offical acceptance letter! I'm officially a masters student at UNT!!

This means that I start in August! I fly out to Denton mid-August for orientation. And classes start the 28th. I am so excited!

I'll be sure to share with you all my adventures to come, and my "synthesis of thought" will finally move on to "all things anthropological".

Congratulations on being accepted. I've been looking into the UNT Online program, and was happy to stumble onto your blog.

I'm currently a student at Arizona State, and hope to go elsewhere for my Masters. I am similarly locked into my current city of residence, and the UNT program looks like it could work for me (my alternatives are commuting to Flagstaff, or to the U of A in Tucson).

I'll be very interested to hear your impressions of the UNT campus and of the online program as you move forward.

Good luck!

Paul

Hello,
I will be sure to share my experience here. Also, feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the program and I'll do what I can to answer them or point you in the right direction. So far, we've only started on the listserv and the cosmic cafe (a forum of sorts) and I've been very impressed with the constant communication from the profs.
